Catch all planners are essential when planning your life. They consist of everything you plan for in your life, from personal to business. So why do you need one? If you’re like me, you more than likely own several planners for different purposes or functions.

The Purpose of Catch All Planners
Have you ever felt overwhelmed by multiple planners? I know I have. Having 3 separate planners as every day carries was becoming overwhelming. I would take them to appointments, the doctors, for work or just to be around my home. I was feeling like I had to rewrite the same thing over & over in each planner. Then I had to write down specific notes or appointments for my parents as their caregiver. My bag was literally becoming heavier & heavier. Finally, I made a decision to finally have a catch all planner.
The purpose of this type of planner is to have the areas of your life in one system that works for you. This planner usually contains several sections such as a yearly overview, inbox, monthly calendar, weekly/daily schedule, project management, finance &/or trackers. Recently I shared, a blog post discussing the importance of creating a planner system that works for you. Catch all planners are your go to planners for everyday tasks, project management, tracking, weekly & daily planning. These are purposely used as your on the go planner for everything.

My Planner Consultation for my Catch All
First, I scheduled a planner consultation with Cloth & Paper’s consultant Iesha. Then I met with her to discuss how I wanted to use the planner for my specific needs. This consultation changed my view on how I can use one planner for everything. I needed a planner that would house my schedule, my monthly calendars, my weekly tasks & my daily tasks. In addition, I also needed a section for budgeting being that I am managing my family’s budget as well as my parents. I finally understood the purpose of using inserts that were specific for what I needed to accomplish multiple tasks in one day.
Catch all planners are planners that consist of the main facets of your life. These planners contain sections you need to update consistently. So if you need groceries, meal planners, task management, project management, appointments or important info then this is the planner system that you can utilize instead of having a finance planner, personal planner, meal planner or work planner as your on the go planners. This basically houses the most important sections of those planners in one planning system.
