Can you believe that we are finally closing this 2021 chapter? In this 2021 review I want to discuss the planners that I have used. I also want to share what has changed. Previously, I shared some tips on planning your 2022 Goals. If you would like to see how I created my own personal goals you can view my goal planning video here.

The Pocket Planner Era
In 2021, I began my year with pocket planners. I was heavily into pocket planners & still love them. I also love the portability & functionality of my pocket planners. They gave me everything I needed. I was able to utilize monthly, weekly & daily spreads in them. Their size made it very easy to purchase all the cute little deco, dividers & inserts that were loved at the moment.

Moving forward, I believe that my pocket system is not going anywhere because she was definitely a moment. I love that I can use this planner for work related tasks or on the go planning. Pocket planners are great for planners who want small compact systems. Finally, they are functional enough where you can use it to budget, plan, track or goal set your life.

The Disc-Bound Catch All Era
This is the planner that changed my life. My disc-bound system was an amazing system that was implemented after a fabulous planner consultation I had with Iesha. This service is provided through Cloth & Paper’s Planner Consultations. I was able to organize my life in various sections using specific inserts, dashboards & supplies. Each specific insert recommendation came with guidance on how to use them. Currently, I have used every single insert that was recommended. This planner has become my personal life catch all or everything planner.

I have a section divided for my parents, their appointments, notes & monthly events. I also have a section for myself. This planner has allowed me to keep everything in one place, rather than having multiple planners for multiple purposes. I have one system that contains the most important aspects of my life. The best part is that I now have a PDF that I was able to print & use as a reference. This has been the best system for me this year. So make sure you book your session with Iesha , Pascha or any of the other amazing planners using this service. *Not Sponsored*

The Book-Bound Era
My disc-bound system has inspired me to want to keep a permanent book in my archive collection. This has become one of my favorite systems for me to keep everything in one book. I am able to track, reflect, journal & use all the stickers I love in them. For this reason, I have fallen in love with book-bound planners.

I have all the pieces of my life contained in one book-bound system that I can reflect on. I also think it’s great way for our children to read as journals & have them as family memoirs. There is just something about romanticizing our past plans, goals & memories we have had in our lives. I would have never expected to fall in love with book-bound planners but here we are.

2021 has definitely been a year of growth & change for me. I have embraced my planning journey & appreciate where I am now. If you would like to see a quick 2021 review of my year, definitely click this link to see my reel here.
